Cloning has being one of the latest scientific controversies all around the world. What everyone understands by cloning is duplicating something or someone but in a scientific explanation is the production of a living being that identical to the individual from which it was derived. According to the dictionary, human cloning is the artificial production of a genetic replica of another human being achieved in an asexual reproduction. This essay is about human cloning and tries to answer to what extend is it possible to clone an exact copy of a human being by two important point; identical twins and therapeutic cloning with stem cells. Especially this topic is really interesting to me because I support this research. For me, by using clones of organs in therapeutics can solve lots of problems and diseases, saving millions of people per year giving them the opportunity to survive. When a women is pregnant she can have one kid, two kids, three kids and we have even heard of cases of one women giving birth to 6 children at the same time. When she has two kids, there is two ways of how the babies are growing and developing. One of them is known as identical twins and the other as fraternal twins. Maybe you should be thinking what this has to do with cloning human but it really has something, the identical twins are the important here. Identical twins are the procedure of human cloning but in a natural way, they are developed from a single fertilized egg eventually having the same genome making it similar to the cloning process. They are genetically copies with their DNA copies exactly the same making them physically the same and even having the 50% of possibilities of sharing a disease, like schizophrenia. As I already said in the introduction, cloning is when two or more organisms have the exact genetic copies, making their DNA identical. Identical twins have the same genes but because the environment, as they age their genes starts changing. For example, if there are two identical twins living together in their first stages of their life they would have the same genes but when they start middle school or high school we would start seeing changes, not physically but in their genes. Every person doesn’t mattering if they are family or not, reacts and acts in a different way even though it is the same situation. And that is the reason why the genes of the identical twins change. When a person confronts a situation, depending in his or her personality, the person acts in the way he or she thinks it is the best. By doing that repeatedly, their genes starts changing and adapting to the environment. In the case of the identical twins, there is where they start differentiating. One of the most known cases of cloning not in humans but in animals is Dolly the sheep, it occurred in Scotland, 1997. Dolly was the 277 try of cloning a sheep and the only one that survived but like any other clones; she started her life in a test tube. The Scotti
