The most significant effect of gambling is the loss of money. All possessions in a family may be lost in just a blink of an eye due to gambling. Family members may feel hurt, afraid and confused with the upcoming crisis. Under this desperate situation, the family members may borrow money from their friends or relatives. However, after some time, they may not be able to borrow money from people around them anymore because of the unpaid debt. Soon, they look for loan sharks for money. This drives them deeper into debt. Moreover, gambling will cause health problems.
