Although many people believe that all states should adhere to common educational standards because in that way experts can determine what works and what dos not work, the reality is that each state demands different academic requirements since the fact that education should be given not only to learn but to serve society. Education in the United States is standardized for all regions, which should not be that way because each region has different requirements for their economy and society in general as there exists divergent leaning aptitudes and geographic differences throughout the country. State Governments Should be responsible for setting educational standards and curriculums. But why this is true? Why students might have a different education? Well, first of all, it is useless to be prepared and know many topics if then we cannot serve to the society, a wise Latin American writer named Andres Bello said "Teach what people can understand, teach what is useful, teach to all ". So another question arises, what means teach anything useful? Well, the simple fact of teach what society needs at the time and the place where they live; it is for this fact that the US education should not be standardized if not rather adapted to each region to make the most and so improving the country's economy.
