In the history of the United States of America, different ethnic and racial communities have always been extremely important into how our country is socially. One unique community that stands out in our history is the Japanese community. The Japanese community is unique in my point of view because it took a large war for them to realize they did not have to take over the world in order to become a strong and stable country. Militarization was a key definition that can relate to how the Japanese people were before and during the war in the Pacific War. Making others suffer and suffering themselves shows how they tried to over power everyone. United States of America’s viewpoints changed heavily towards Japan after the attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7th, 1941. “Military Necessity” can relate to the war in a specific way. An important and large role in the growth of the Japanese community is the aftermath of Japanese incarceration after the Pacific War. It built the community and made them stronger today. The three key concepts that have been mentioned are the basis in shaping the Japanese community that we have in our country today for numerous reasons. The Japanese community is a very close-knit community that tends to stick together. That is similar to many other Asian communities. In the early 1900s, Japanese people tried to migrate to Hawaii and to America to work in fields, similar to what other Asian people did.1 They were only able to immigrate because American businessmen were looking to make a good stack of money to get workers for their fields. Slowly coming together as a community, things economically and socially changed after the United States of America did not want anything to do with Japanese people coming into our country. During the early 20th century the Japanese community slowly stopped growing. Once America cut off all ties for immigration, the slowly building community fell once again. The Japanese community
