In our lives, people have to get new information by using things that make their lives easy and quick. Now we have notebook computers and smartphones that we can carry with us anytime and anywhere. Also from these devices we can get frequent information by linking to the Internet. The Internet is the easiest way to find information such as news, history and sending text with friends. In addition, people use the Internet to share their opinions, experiences and ideas on websites called “social media.” Now, these social media become part of our daily life because it is free for us to share ideas to everyone around the world. Studies also say that the social media can decrease stress (Bernard, 2015). However, some researchers claim stalking social media is having a bad effect for people who use it (Collins, 2015). “Social media is the media which user or people who use it upload whether that is a blog, video, slideshow, podcast, newsletter or an eBook. Social media is one-to-many communication. However, people can respond and comment, you own the content and have to produce (write, record and create) the media yourself” (Fauzia, 2013). Social media has affected our lives before popular social media like Facebook had been created. It started from usual things like sending an email. The world’s first email message was sent in the 1970s by am American researcher. A few year later Tim Berners-Lee of CERN (European Laboratory for Particle Physics) created an IP (Internet protocol) called the World Wide Web in 1991 (Heyden and Tomal, 2012). After this year, social media has starting to affect to our lives. Social media not only makes us communicate with people on other sides of the world but also control our feelings. According to Pew Research Center Internet Project, people who use social media can decrease stress, especially women. Researchers suggest that women have the ability to balance some their demand in life. However, the re
