The army soldiers are a reflection of pride that is visible by the Army customs, courtesies, and tradition. As a soldier we have to take pride on the Army history, mission, capabilities and respect that the Army as an organization has earned in the service of the Nation. The importance of doing a good job, in a time manner, without problems, it is important for me to do a very good job, because lives depend on it. When I do not do a good job the live of my fellow soldiers it is in danger. My job as a Forward Signal Specialist, while in this deployment it is to ensure that all the ECP’s stations have communication with the Command Post. How to ensure that the communication between the gates and the command post stay up? I have to go every Sunday for comsec change over and ensure that one supervise the NCO filling the radios and make sure he is doing a good job or filling the radios by myself. In the event of a malfunction on a radio the personnel with the malfunction should immediately inform the Command Post. The Command Post need to notify me immediately of the situation happening. If the Command Post fails the notify me I cannot do anything in regards of the situation. I am aware that it is my responsibility to ensure all radios in each location it is functionally working. Any problems that it is out of my hand I will inform the Senior Nco on that Post about the situation and that I will seek help and a way to fix the problem as fast as I can.
