“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” -Genesis 1:27 Marriage simply defined as "The God-appointed and legitimate union of man and woman." Yes you heard it right MAN AND WOMAN. The image of God is both male and female and is reflected in a godly union between male and female where the creative power of God, His life-giving, His self-giving and His moral nature are perfectly expressed. This is only possible in a heterosexual union. When God created a partner for Adam He created Eve-not another Adam. This means that perfect partnership requires some level of difference as well as a level of similarity so great that Adam could cry out loudly, ”This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh”. Sexual intimacy between a man and a woman is the normal method of male/female bonding (emotionally and physically) because it corresponds to the design of our bodies and because it is the normal means by which offspring are created. With the same sex marriage how can you do this? Man's body is not design to conceive nor has neither reproductive organ nor womb to carry a child. There is no sexual consummation with the same sex and for them to get satisfied; they will resort to all sort of sexual acts which are not normal and healthy. Lustful acts that is sinful in God's eyes. Our body is God's temple and we are responsible to protect and guard this from all sins, harm and temptation. A family is composed of a father mother and children and not two fathers or two mothers and adopted children.. We should conform to the normal norms of morality if we wanted to have a peaceful family much more a peaceful world. God is love He is a loving, merciful, compassionate God but still he did not tolerate such act. We have laws to follow and it is among them. If God had intended the human race to be fulfilled through both heterosexual and homosexual marriage, He would have designe
