I really agree that the justice is truly blind for reason that the government of United States has established a good eyesight. This is so because one of the principles of founding nation states that we are a nation of laws, of which that justice is blind. Equal justice for all is our principle which is very important that we visually characterize that notion with the statue of Lady Justice where she holds the scales of justice. We also remind ourselves about the principle of equal justice which are the last words of the Pledge of allegiance, that is, “with liberty and justice for all”. We are all aware of cases where people flagrantly go free after committing a crime. An example is a murder criminal case of cough O. J. Simpson cough, where the People of the State of California V. Orenthal James Simpson, a criminal case held at Superior Court of Los Angelis in California. The case is one of the most publicized cases after a trial that took almost a year to be concluded. In the court, the defense attorneys brought out a notion that O. J. Simpson is being charged and LAPD was against him because of the racial differences, after the domestic call, they went to Simpson’s house eight times at first without any arrest on him, and it took the police five days before they made the arrest to Simpson. This was after they cited him for abuse of back in 1989, and they waited until 1994 murder to arrest. The court returned no verdict of not guilty and Simpson was freed. The verdict of not guilty, in post-trial interviews, many people including even jurors, believed that Simpson probably really committed the murder, but there was no prove from the prosecution side. This was so because the officer who was prosecuting in the case prosecutor Darden was black like the accused Simpson. Justice is truly blind. The other example of justice is blind, is the Travon Martin and George Zimmerman case. Zimmerman was charged with murder by shooting to deat
