I'm Dan Rosenberg. I am an Architecture major at SIU.
When I am not bowling, I am usually building a model or drawing
a floor plan of some sort. I live in Vernon Hills, Illinois
which is about 45 minutes north of Chicago. I bowl out of
Hawthorn Lanes, which is also in Vernon Hills. That is were
Bill Spigner has been my mentor for years. I owe a lot to
him. Thanks Bill.
My parents, Al and Debbie, have supported me with
what ever I have done, no matter if they liked it or not.
They have helped me with my mental game tremendously. I
have to thank them for every thing. Thank you Mom and Dad.
Last year was a rough year for me. I am looking
to have a strong sophomore year this year. I am President
of the SIU Bowling Club and I am also Recruiting Officer.
I like to devote a lot of my time to the team and I really
would like to see the program succeed.
Last year I averaged 203 in league and I had a
288 high game and a 785 high series. The beginning of this
year was very tough for me. I got tendentious in my bowling
hand and wrist and was out of bowling for almost 9 weeks.
It was the toughest thing I have had to go threw but I am able
to bowl now. I am really looking forward to this season and
I want to see our team succeed. GO SALUKIS!!!!!!
